Welcome to our FAQ section! Whether you are looking to place an order, have a question about our products, or simply want to learn more about our bakery, we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions. When can I reach The Dessert Junkie?
You may reach us via phone or email during normal operating hours (EST).

Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Friday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Sunday: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
What should I know about Placing an Online Order?
ALL orders are processed in the order received.
​
Because we bake everything fresh and on-demand, ALL orders require 2 to 3 business days to process. Orders placed after 3:00 PM EST Tuesday through Friday will be processed the following business day.
Orders placed after 3:00 PM EST on Friday, will not be processed until the following Tuesday.

All corporate orders require 7 to 10 business days to process and begin shipping. If you wish to expedite your corporate orders, please let us know when placing your order. You may email orders@thedessertjunkie.com
How is Shipping & Delivery handled?
We make every effort to package and ship orders as quickly as possible. The length of time it takes for us to ship your order can vary depending on when the order is placed. This includes the day and time you place your order, as well as whether or not we are in our busy season.

To ensure that you receive your order by the time you need it, you can place orders up to 25 days in advance. Simply let us know when you need it by leaving a delivery date in the comments area of your order.

Please note, we cannot guarantee shipping or arrival dates. We strongly recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least one business day before your desired date to allow for any unforeseen delays. Cookies can be frozen upon arrival to preserve freshness.

We are only able to offer Ground Shipping to locations that would allow for delivery within 2 days, based upon USPS’s and/or UPS’s estimated delivery timeline.

General Shipping Information

All orders are shipped via USPS and UPS.

We ship Tuesday-Friday. Only shipping options that provide same week delivery will be available.

USPS and UPS do not deliver to PO boxes

We do not ship internationally.

How will I know if my order has shipped?
We will send a confirmation with tracking information to the email address you provided with your order once the order has processed for shipment, generally the same day as shipment.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder and add orders@thedessertjunkie.com to your safe senders' list.
How does The Dessert Junkie handle Returns?
Given the perishable nature of our items, The Dessert Junkie does not accept returns, offer exchanges, and/or grant refunds on any good sold unless the issue for return, exchange, and/or refund is the result of an error in our manufacturing, packaging, or handling of the goods.

As a policy, we do not offer refunds for delays caused by one of our shipping partners due to weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disaster, inaccurate shipping information by the customer, mistakes on the part of our shipping partners' employees or similar reasons that are outside of our control. That said, we do know how important it is for your package to be delivered on time and we may be able to offer accommodations in extreme circumstances.

Mistakes are a thing - we get it! However, mistakes made during the ordering process by the customer resulting in delayed/non-delivery are not eligible for any refunds.
Are The Dessert Junkie desserts nut-free?
We are NOT nut-free. Most of our desserts are nut-free, with the exception of a few gluten-free items that contain almond flour. Please note, our cookies, cupcakes and pies are baked in a kitchen where nut ingredients are requested by our customers.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
All orders are final and unable to be changed. We ask that you make sure everything looks correct at checkout before finalizing, and then it’s smooth sailing!
